There has been lots to celebrate recently. During the month of March we’ve had birthdays, World Book Day, Mother’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day and Easter is only around the corner.
We worked with a partner to paint and decorate fairy doors. When they were dry we chose a fine day to place them in the fairy garden for all of the fairies .
The school garden is looking very fruitful after the summer months. We enjoyed exploring the garden and seeing all of the new growth. We even got to taste some raspberries! The runner beans and corn on the cob are looking very impressive too.
Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
