Atlantaquaria

For Science Week we headed off to Galway Atlantaquaria.
When we got there the class was divided into two groups. One group went off for a tour of the Aquarium and the other group stayed to do an experiment. 
The aim of the experiment was to clean dirty water.
There were lots of things that could be used as filters.
We could use cotton wool, rice, oats, gravel and lots of other things.
When we compared the cleaner water with the dirty water there was a big difference.












After we finished our experiment we went for our tour of the aquarium and the other group did their experiment. 











 








 








After the Aquarium we went to the playground next door and we had our lunch.
