Our farewell party

We said goodbye to a wonderful friend on Friday as one of our classmates is moving to another school. On his last day we had a huge party to wish him well. We held a chess tournament and table quiz, played balloon games and dodgeball, had a disco, did some bowling and ate some treats. Everyone wrote him a lovely note. We know he will love his new school and his new friends.

Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
