Halloween Party

What a day! We had loads of fun. We all dressed up, the costumes were fantastic. We had a dress up parade in the hall followed by a disco then it was back to the classroom to continue the fun. We played loads of party games, we bobbed for apples and sweets in water and flour. We tried to knock toys off targets, we had a mummy making competition, danced to party songs and played Pin the Ghost on the Haunted House.

Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
