Art with Ana: Ana played music and we used the music to inspire our drawings, we then added to our friend's drawings. Together we created fantastic pieces of art. 

STEM activities: We enjoy planning and building various structures. This involves problem solving and team work. 

Dance with Ms. Seoige: We will be learning sean nós dancing on Tuesdays with Ms. Seoige. Sean nós in Irish means 'old style'. We have been learning the 'shuffle, shuffle, stamp' steps and are really enjoying the lessons. Sean nós dancing is traditionally a solo dance, it follows the music closely and encourages people to improvise. We really like this style of dancing. We will perform for parents at our Céilí Mór during Seachtain na Gaeilge.

Chess: For the last two weeks 2nd class have been learning chess. It's great fun and we need to always think one step ahead. It's a game of strategy. We have chess boards in the classroom and love nothing more than developing our skills when we have some free time.

John from FAI was back last week to deliver a soccer workshop. We love when John come to our school. We always enjoy his workshops.
