Hurling with Gerry

We are really enjoying out hurling sessions with Gerry. Last week the class was divided into three teams- Galway, Waterford and Kilkenny. Gerry gave each of us a hurling name and we played lots of matches. It was great fun. Gerry will return after Christmas break.

Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
