Road Safety

We talked about how to stay safe on the road. We know it is very important that we wear a seat belt at all times when we travel in a car. We also know that we should wear hi vis (high visibility) clothes and arm bands when we walk or cycle on the road, this makes it easier for cars to spot us. We designed posters in groups and got certificates to show that we know the very important road safety message: Be Safe, Be Seen.

Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
