Our Fabulous Photographer

Congratulations to our wonderful winner of the Clarinbridge and Athenry Tidy Towns Photo Competition. Her beautiful photo was selected from over two hundred entries and will appear in a calendar celebrating the Clarin River. She also received a voucher and her photo will be displayed at the Clarinbridge Oyster Festival Family Day this weekend. It will also appear in the library in Athenry in the near future. Everyone in 2nd class is very proud of her. :)

Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
