World Book Day

We celebrated World Book Day on Friday. We love reading and have been buying lots of super books all week in the Book Fair. We were very excited to get the chance to dress up as lots of different characters. We had a parade in the morning to show off our creative costumes.

Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
