Céilí Dancing

We had lots of fun learning four céilí dances with Kevin. He taught us The Walls of Limerick, The Siege of Ennis, The Haymaker's Jig and The Two Hand Reel.

We are now continuing our lessons with Mary and will perform the dances at our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebration.

Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
