January Activities

We've been very busy since returning to school last week. On Monday we shared some of our fantastic Christmas presents with the class. On Tuesday we started rugby training with Monivea Rugby Club and on Friday we had our first céilí dancing lesson (photos to follow). We are also working on our Write a Book projects. Our drama lesson on Friday was briefly interrupted due to the snow, some photos are on the main page and more will follow soon. Overall 2017 is off to a flying start in our classroom.

Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
