Irish Road Safety Week 2016

Irish Road Safety Week took place from Monday 3rd to Sunday 9th October. We talked about all the ways we can stay safe on the road. We sang the Safe Cross Code song and role played different situations. We also designed posters to encourage people to stay safe by wearing high visibility vests. We received certificates and armbands at the end of the week.

Autumn is well and truly here. We used autumnal colours and a cotton bud to recreate the pointillism technique. We gathered leaves from around and used them to make leaf prints using the same colours of red, orange, yellow and brown. We know these colours in Irish too dearg, oráiste, buí agus donn.
